it solved a problem that COULD have been easily solved using word filters and some kind of report
thing for having for example urls in images which is then verified by 2 janitors after a single
post gets 10 or 15 reports (instantly hidden post upon X reports, if true the poster gets banned,
if faulty all the reporters instead gets banned and the post is restored)
instead they added a 4chan gold account which lets you pay to bypass the captcha, meaning that
the captcha will never be removed now because that would mean losing the gold account cash
seriously moot created a problem in order to fix a problem and then charged money to bypass the
new problem. i still appreciate moot for everything he has done for the site but that was just
dumb.
