wut, "unique symbols" are unicode. that swiff player probably just have a problem with unicode
filenames (instead of interpreting two bytes as a character it might interpret one of them as the
end of the string for example, or it simply asks the disk for the bytes of a file that aren't
there). what 4chan does is that it html encodes unicode characters in filenames (even characters
like ' and , annoyingly enough).
