I actually took the images from the original video and put them in the swf with streaming sound
instead of just importing the video, which doesnt look as good and is even bigger filesize.
A timer wouldnt make a difference. It'd still be the same size and quality. You're better off
using keyframes and the timeline.
But hey. You're probably just looking for a reason to bitch and I could just use the Cancer Tool
instead like the other garfielf stuff.

I'm mostly concerned about the filesize
actually I'm gonna make this myself just to see if it really takes 8MB

You can decompile this one to see what I did if you want.
Most of the filesize is the images themselves. The original video was around this size. The
difference between importing the video directly and using images is mostly the quality.
With imported video you have to lower the bitrate to have <10MB and it looks shit.
I think the only way to have a true Garfielf swf would be to 100% make it in Flash and not use
MSPaint images.

good job m8
(though you could have increased the jpeg compression factor more in Publish Settings for smaller
file size)

What audio format did you use? How big is it?

MP3. It's about 1.2 MB. There's not a lot of options here. Though I probably could have used a
lower bitrate. (it's at 160)
