It's closer than you think, /f/aggots.

you guys need to stop overreacting. /f/ will still be plenty active. Literally 90% of the flash
posted now is just reposts and people will still be able to make OC assuming they still have a
copy of flash

it's not like we'll be able to view it though. browsers are going to stop supporting flash from
next year and by 2020 Adobe's gunna axe it altogether.
I mean we can still use Winamp because they only stopped updating it but Flash is outright
getting taken to the back shed and being put down for no real reason.

This board is literally the only good use of flash. All other uses of flash are just pure dogshit
trash right now. It was good over the years to get the ball rolling on web based media, and the
games were fun.. but we have perfect open standards now that NEED to be widespread. I say bring
it on. Bigger and better things. Anyone can still produce flash and encode it to a webm, no
interactive components will be possible obviously.. But who the hell cares. You can still
download and play the SWF files if you really need to. This board can still exist, too.. Just
download the SWF file and run it in a player application.

>not keeping an old browser around solely for flash content
If you are worried about security, run it in fucking Sandboxie, problem solved.
Better yet, reinstall your flash browser inside of the Sandboxie sandbox so you never make the
mistake of accidentally launching it outside.
Make a launch shortcut to it and rename it "[browser-name] (FLASH)"
I've been doing this forever.
