Rapidshares was such an amazing section, really dumb to get rid of it. Then again, it did make
lists of URLs to pirated content available so perhaps it would have caused trouble for the site
down the line. At the time porn links flew under the radar, still isn't really that defended
copyright-wise though. Unfortunately the reason for Rapidshares removal seemed more like laziness
than legal worries. /r/ is still around to promote pirated content after all, though threads are
much more fleeting and easier defended in court than an index list of URLs.
