under morality we are obligated to respect concepts like personal ownership and property.
However, entities such as a nation-state or a large organization exist above morality, and is
independent of it. Many guidelines of nation-states are set into place with the intention of
protecting morality from the government, and these steps are rightly taken, for power seeks only
self-preservation at the expense of anything it can afford.
It is in no-one's best interest that nation-states or large organizations cease to exist, just as
it is in no one's interest that morality ceases to exist, but one must recognize that neither is
subservient to the other. Morality is not what governs nations, for nations govern themselves.
Government is not what defines morality, for then morality will always be a sharp blade against
your neck.
Do not demand your nation serve what is moral, demand that your nation's health is in direct
correlation with the health of all its constituents. You must treat governing bodies at all times
like bulls ready to throw morality at the slightest sign of weakness.
