Not OP, but oldfag here. Re-naming SWFs is annoying because the artist named it for reasons so
he/she could get credit through outside sources, and if you've already seen a swf, you don't want
you open it by accident again because it's a different name...
It's like calling a wrench a screwdriver, just don't do it.
Also, all these fuckers nowadays don't source their music and video on the bottom of the swf.

I can see why this would be an issue. But here's the thing, most of the flashes on /f/ are
slightly amusing, low quality garbage. Where are the droves of people asking who made the
wonderful squeaky weeb flashes and hoards of Thursgay man-ass slapping flashes?
All the high quality flashes that are posted here already have credits or a name of the flash in
the flash itself. If someone wants to know what a flash is called or where/who it comes from,
someone usually asks in the comments and they are either told to 'lurk moar faggot', or are told
what the flash is.

This does sucks. Though for the most part the music can be found through Shazam. Or, just maybe,
instead of being told to 'lurk moar faggot', people can actually share the info if someone asks.
TL;DR. Take a look at the quality of the flashes being posted. It's a pretty good indication of
the kind of community that resides here. There's a reason the community that you yearn for is
dying.
