don't usually watch these shows, but i really like how real this scene feels. idk if it's the
fact that everyone actually moved during the scene, or just how they actually made the audio feel
like a group of friends where somebody just did something dumb, but it really works for me

That's because the way this series was produced was having the VAs stay in a recording booth,
handed a vague list of topics to talk about, and after that's done they just talk about whatever.
Then they animate according to the audio, which is why its so genuine

This was just a bunch of VAs having fun talking about random shit and an animation put to it.
Similar to that talk show with Ricky Gervais, Stephen Merchant and Karl Pilkington where they
just talk about random shit then they animate it.
I actually like this sort of format.
Shame there isn't more of it.
Translate radio shows to visual with the power of animation. There's some fucking weird ones out
there, like Welcome to Nightvale. Highly recommended podcast if you like bizarre shit

I think the craziest most genuine thing about it is the anime is produced using MMD.
That lo-tech has a real visceral grit to it.
