I was decompiling flashes from my folder using JPEXS in the hopes of learning something so I
could contribute to this dying board when I came across this https://pastebin.com/Q1c4HTk2. I'm a
complete n00b when it comes to this shit, but I can break the urls without it effecting the rest
of the flash as far as I can tell. I can't figure out the purpose of including those urls in the
ET class other than to have the flash give your IP to whoever owns them (ET phone home, get it?
lolololol) If anyone here knows their shit, any explanation would be greatly appreciated.
P.S. If there's a better tool for decompiling .swfs pls let me know.

Isn't it just a URL checker that sees if you're on the URL the flash originated from and then
dies if you're not so you can't rehost it?
Either way you shouldn't allow flashes talking to external servers ever unless they are actually
MMOs.

If it was just a URL checker wouldn't breaking the URLs it's looking for break the flash since it
wouldn't be able to find them? Also, wouldn't it prevent me from running the flash from my HDD?
Serious questions, as I stated before, I'm pretty new at this shit.

the only way you'll truly know is if you try it yourself through trial and error
I mean you practice what you learn, right?
