extremely light compared to what would happen if they really did collide head on with another car

I had a near accident because I was changing a station on the radio. It was in the winter and
snowing and I didn't notice the car in front of me stopped to let the pedestrians walk to the
other side and I didn't have a chance to brake to a full stop fast enough so I steered on the
opposite side of the road where, thankfully, weren't any cars and I past the car and the
pedestrians by. I didn't even stop to check if they were okay, I was just glad I didn't hit
anybody. My heart was racing like a motherfucker.

I wish more people out there would understand theyre operating a 500+ Lb death machine that can
flip just from taking a 60 mph turn on a flat road and that accelerating and turning gradually
raises the weight of the car momentarily. You can be the safest most attentive person but that
wont stop stop a small piece of debris on the road blowing out a single tire and flipping the
entire vehicle over into the median hopefully not into another car
