/pol/Harbor: Moot's farewell gift to 4chan.
The story is a little complicated, but the gist is that /pol/ found out that a woman that Moot
was involved with got in a relationship with another dude. In response, /pol/ started probing and
calling Moot a cuck, which did not go over well with Moot.
A while after, he renamed /pol/ as "8 STEPS TO KEKHOLDING", removed the captcha and post timers,
and advertised /pol/ to every board on 4chan just as /pol/'s 40M get was coming up. To crank shit
up to 11, Moot then added a series of word filters, embedded .mp3's, an extra digit to each post
count (AUTOMATIC DUBS), and flashing TRIGGER WARNINGS to every single post. The sticky at the top
of the board for 3 weeks was a picture of Moot getting pegged by Anita Sarkeesian and Zoey.
[s4s] collaborated to put this flash together to commerate to occasion. Everything you're seeing
in this is either a screenshot from when this was all unfolding, or borrowed from the submissions
threads. Either way, the 40M came and went (HITLER WAS RIGHT), /pol/ managed to keep their get,
and moot eventually moved on.
There's a bit more nuance to the story than this, but this is just a brief overview.
