>he saves files in one folder
You are supposed to save every flash in separate folders so you can name them properly. (or
descriptively if there is no source)
So if you saved this, you would save this in a folder called swf.swf (dj cutman version), then
save the file in there as well as any possible changes, renames or whatever.
No getting mad at renames, no name collisions, just perfection.
Problem solved.

Run a dupe-finder.
Move all the dupes in to one folder, name folder something descriptive.
Move the rest in to folders using the same method.
If you don't care for posting renamed files to make /f/ags angry, look up swfchan for the flashes
and delete all but one, keep the original name.
You could write a script to do this, say Python, Autohotkey or some other shit.
Just compute hashes of files, move them all to folder based on the oldest filename, name the
folder that too.
Then you can go through and rename the folders yourself if they don't have good descriptive names.
Then you can go one further and organise the flash folders based on the content type, like anime,
hentai, porn, cartoon, game, mecha, film, music, loops, tv, memes, video-posting-scum, etc.
I only partially wrote a script for organising files. (based on file extension)
I intend writing a script to do this part as well, not just for flash but for every media file
type.

It's the only decent method I have found, so far.
File taggers don't really work because they will only tag files in its own database.
File collisions are still an issue there.
You could write a flash file browser that sits between you and the flash files, and have a
database with the original filenames and hash the actual files, no file collisions, but that's
just way more effort when you can just group them all in folders automatically or even manually
and let your OSes file manager deal with the organization.

Most of the files are unique, so I have a long journey ahead. Could be a useful archive. Thanx
