I just finished watching this last night o.0 I started watching it over a year ago and haven't

so I just read the wikipedia for serial experiments lain and it says that the way the Wired
merged with the real world was through Schumann Resonances... I was wondering how the fuck they
could connect without any devices, but I don't think this actually makes sense either. Any
philosophers (let's be honest, everyone on 4chan is a philosophical genius amiright) wanna weigh
in? Is it just supposed to be suspension of disbelief? I get a little disappointed since I find
the ideas presented in Ghost in the Shell 100% realistic. Maybe I just don't understand Schumann
Resonances.

Brain waves are electromagnetic waves. They can affect your mental state if they're manipulated
in the right way. Not sure that they have same frequencies as Schumann Resonances. I've read some
conspiratard shit saying the HAARP station is able to manipulate the fact that brainwaves are
attuned to the same EM waves it interacts with in meteorological phenomena. Don't know enough
particulars to be able to tell you how plausible the SEL lore is on this though.

I've heard about that HAARP shit. "The government is lowering our frequencies to dumb us down, we
need to raise our vibrations with drugs".
I did just look up though that the Schumann Resonances start at ~8 Hz (fundamental) and go up
from there to 14.3, 20.8, 27.3 and 33.8 Hz. Brain waves can be anywhere from 1 to 150 Hz, so it
honestly seems like random irrelevant information to me...
