it seems in the past year or so, /f/ has been taken over by flash loops with maybe six frames of
animation and some fourteen-year-old's favorite dubstep attached. i've railed against this, but
what's the point? retards are going to make /f/ into a low-rent YTMND, so i may as well go with
it.

/f/ is a weird one. It's clearly got a community of creators, but they're all isolated. It'd be
cool if we could get everyone together to churn out OC. Breathe some life back into this board.

i'd like to see more flash games, even simple ones. flash loops don't have any complexity. there
is literally nothing you can get out of a flash loop that you couldn't build into a webm.

Disagree. Webms are still finite. Flash loops can have multiple looping instances that all
operate independently of the main timeline. So they don't all have to line up perfectly at the
end to form a perfect loop. Plus some of them are interactive, which I always enjoy. They're like
little bite-sized pieces of animation in a unique format.

the thing is flash loops are the easiest to do in adobe flash
bonus points go to the seamless ones and the ones that are actually sync'd
even extra bonus if they are somehow interactive
making a flash game takes effort and not only for a day but sometimes for weeks and I doubt
anyone here has that kind of commitment

webm doesn't exactly have that seamless loop and doesn't play video and audio separately like
flash does
