  If everything is transient, what purpose is there for being melancholy about that transience?

  Video games are the thing I personally feel the most distance today
  I grew up just when computers and dial up internet access became a thing
  I was sure to be one of the first to enjoy the web 1.0 and copying games on 10 floppy discs
  Back then you were the odd one out if you played any games after pokemon as a kid (boy, EVERYbody
  played that one, I had my first gf in elementary school from trading her pokemanz and buffing
  them with duped candy/etc.)
  Being on the computer was a full time activity that shunned all the others.

  Now everyone is wiggling around their smartphones all the time, and anon is the odd one out for
  not wanting to be friends with my boss on facebook and watch him going hiking with his kids for
  my free time activity.
  Just look at how even babies are given these things today. They couldn't play a gameboy, even if
  their life depended on it!

  Honestly I can't wait for this gay earth, and all that is on it, to perish already and end my
  mortal life.
