a load of crock. most of the security issues was just redirects to some site that prompted a
virus download. most of the privacy issues was just "oh no, flash cookies".
what these big corporations should do is sandbox it properly. instead of removing flash
completely how about removing its ability to redirect and to load other flashes? maybe remove its
internet/local access completely. it would break some older flashes but save 95% of em since
flash would live on. html5 would still pick up the slacks where flash now lost compatibility.
instead of fixing flash adobe is just abandoning it because there's too little money. and of
course the other companies want flash gone too since they dont own it. the bottom line is that we
regular users lose, no matter how you twist it (since security/privacy is a void argument).
