Not exactly. But stealing business away from companies is down right communist. Lets say that you
owned an Ice Cream shop. There you are selling premium ice cream to people at $1.00 a cone. But
there is a problem. Not every one can aford your Ice Cream because they don't have jobs because
they didn't go to school and now no employer wants them or they were laid off because their jobs
went over seas or the business shut down due to lack of sales. So you have got those thousands of
people out there who can't have your Ice cream and they start complaining that they deserve your
ice cream regardless if they can pay for it or not.

So the government steps in.
They start selling ice cream at $0.20 a cone. Sure this will force you to be more competitive but
you have a dealer cost of $0.30 a cone and on top of that you have to pay for a ice cream shop,
electricity, and employees. So if you are not making at least $0.95 a cone your business will
collapse.

So you lose your business, you fire your employees and sell your building. You lose your house
and your car. However, things aren't so bad. You see on your welfare check that a tax has been
taken out some for your money from the check because the government needs help to pay for the Ice
cream that they have been giving people.

This is not an example of socialism. All that was is an example, a parable if you will, of what
is going on with the health care issue. People view it as a necessity verses a service. People
don't need health care people just want it because it makes things cheaper.

To add onto that. I have a college education. I have such a wide section of jobs that would like
me to work for them. I chose where i am working now because they had a health care plan as a
benefit.
Now here is the thing. I have an associates degree in Criminal Justice, but i work as a broadcast
engineer for Dish Network. They hired me because i had a college education. It didn't matter to
them that it was in a different field; they were just so happy to see someone with some college
that they hired me just because of that.
