I like these types of videos, understanding exactly why the financial system works the way it
does is hard to explain sometimes
I remember reading this comic some years ago about five people that end up on an island and
develop a system of currency in order to exchange goods with each other, and then this banker
comes along proposing a new system using loans and interest and ending up owning everything on
the island... I can't remember the name of the comic though, it proposed an interesting solution
to the problem, something like "social currency" or something

This particular argument is absolute crap. The zeitgeist series has some cool and correct
arguments, but this this is garbage. Durr... banks can't go bankrupt because of the sub-prime
mortgage crisis if they, in fact, did not put up tangible consideration.
