Honestly... this is a pretty crappy attempt.
Just a 8-bit version of the music replacing the normal music from the video, and the video having
a greenish tone while having a pixelation filter applied.
Still does not look like its even close to resembling a gameboy, its wrong from just about every
angle.

That depends on how well you can compress the video. With one bit pixel sizes and rle, you should
be able to get some good results. Add delta coding and you can shrink this even more.
As for the audio, it's just a matter of storing the samples instead of the mix, that alone saves
lots of space. It costs a little in cpu time, but it saves a lof of storage space.
A real gameboy cart should be able to fit this just fine.

Yeah, I can definitely see this being pulled off on actual Gameboiy hardware.
This kind of reminds me of the old days, the Gameboy ROM homebrew scene around '98 or so, where I
was struck with awe at someone porting a movieclip from El-Hazard to a Gameboy ROM. It wasn't too
long and didn't have any sound, but it blew my mind back then, and I'm pretty sure the "retro
coders" have learned some new things in the last decade or so that would see something like this
come to fruition.
