I was upgrading mah ship, and ran out of money, then suddenly, I had no weapons and could no

You don't, really. Not that you'd have any reason to, since (with the obvious exception of the
basic gun) the weapons are all area-damage weapons. And the gun hits fucking EVERYTHING if you
zig-zag.

The best thing about this game is that the base ship represents absolutely no physical base for
the weapons to be mounted. You can have guns and missles that are just floating around the
spacecraft.
