Didn't you notice? Miku DIED at the end. The plant rocketing into heaven was a metaphor. She
visited the boy's grave and died, carrying that pot he was always clutching, and her tear made it
finally sprout.
Didn't you notice that the world was barren, broken, and there were skeletons everywhere? It was
dead, too, until Miku made the plant grow.
