Side note, in the past month Chrome has started trying to download swf files instead of opening
them, how do i fix this?

same here anon, ever since chrome 69 came out...
no idea how to fix. Installing flash player 10 does nothing for me.

you know, I don't think anybody really knows the answer to that question. For all the doom and
gloom about the 2020 date, it doesn't mean with certainty that /f/ will just be deleted by
hiroshima. I'm very worried, of course, we all are, but nobody really knows what the future will
hold for /f/. In all reality, that's probably why everyone feels this way. We don't know what
will happen to the one board that's probably changed the least over all the years

Go here and click "Download the Flash Player projector" for whatever OS you use.
Once downloaded, right click over an .swf you want to play and choose open with" then "choose
default program"
Browse to where you downloaded the .exe (flashplayer_31_sa.exe) and select it.
Hope you can play your swf files now anon, chrome can go fuck themselves

need to make an addon that downloads the swf and loads it into the projector,
what to call this though?
once that's figured out we need to find a working solution to sitelocked files and flash which
need multiple files.
