Alice in Wonderland has always had some questionable themes and 'being creepy' best demonstrated
with Svankmejer's Alice
in this case the goal is to twist the defacto escapism of wonderland into something nasty by
turning it into a literal trap instead of a metaphorical one
each in succession is doomed to make wonderland a bit more hellish in their wake- without
exception, and no matter how innocent they might be
