I remember how bloody annoying parties were. Didn't help that I barely knew how to play the game
back then, but having most of your fortress cease all work to celebrate somebody's birthday
always annoyed me.

Anyone know of a way for colorblinds to play this competently?

If you use the unicode fonts instead of tiles, you can change the color values in
data/init/init.txt in Linux. That's what my blue-orange cb roommate used to do.
Not sure in other platforms, or with tiles.
