I don't know the degree to which memes can effect real world outcomes, but I know this meme among
others had a significant effect on my vote. Long time independent/democrat voter, and 2016 I
voted independent, not stopping Trump in my swing state in no small part due to memes about Trump
I think we're looking at possibly an important piece of history in this flash

i think the same thing every time i see it, or any other trump meme for that matter. ive always
stood by my opinion that he won, for better or worse, simply because of how incredibly memeable
he is. obama wanted to be this memeable so badly, and trump did it without even trying. then
today, when watching this, i tried to think about how this meme will be shown to some kid that
has an interest in american politics, and how they will notice how no other president had such
dank memes made about them until trump. there is no doubt in my mind that we are indeed looking
at a very significant piece of history.

Was a lifelong Dem before 2016. After seeing my party publicly shame war hero Jim Webb out of the
race for being 'too white', 'too male', and 'too moderate' to be the face of the Democratic Party
I ripped up my registration and spent the rest of the Fall campaigning for Trump.
If I couldn't support the most respectable candidate, I was going to support the one who gave the
least shits.
