That was extremely bland and generic. He just runs towards the guy and kicks him. And the "He's
fast!" and "Nani? He's bending space" shit just makes it laughable. Almost any other fight from
any other anime is better than this.

I wasn't a big fan of Part 1.
By Part 2, we'd seen the characters go through a lot of struggles, over 200 episodes worth of it
at the start, and we knew them much more intimately than earlier on in the series because of that.
As a result, important scenes hit home a lot harder because it was happening to beloved
characters, not someone we've only known for less than 50 episodes.
I did enjoy Part 1, don't get me wrong, but for me Part 2 is an incredibly emotional watch for
me. It gets to the point where I'm not enjoying a fight scene because it looks cool, I'm enjoying
it because it's happening to Naruto, or Jiraiya, or Nagato. It's something that people like >>3

fight scenes that make them special, it's the characters involved, and what their fight means to

Spike's gunfights against Vicious, both in the church and during the finale were pretty good and
emotional. Added a ton to the overall story.
I'd also like to add the clusterfuck of a fight in TTGL where we witness Kamina's death, though

Now that I think about it, Nichijou had some pretty fucking intense animation for their jokes. If
