I used to play this game a lot but it's been a while since i was really into it, I think
ballistics is when you swing real hard and swing way up off the top of the screen.

hmm, I tried swinging over the screen but it seems like you can barely get above it and even when
I got somewhat above it I didn't get any ballistics points
im not convinced you can even get them

man i played the crap out of this game back in the day and you can definitely swing pretty far
above the screen, i'll try to do it and get a screencap but it's been a long time give me a bit

also idk if you know this cause it doesn't explain it but you can swing your dude, he swings
towards the mouse so mouse position makes a lot of difference of momentum and can be used to
swing back if you're stuck

Like if I make a short string and im near the top I can swing back and forth and sometimes barely
launch myself above the top but at a very little speed and I don't get anything.
I can go back and forth but I can't get enough boost at a starting point to go way above or
something.
And at a lower point with a longer string it seems even worse I can't launch myself above from
there or atleast it doesn't seem that you can, I rarely gain that much height even when im going
fast.
I guess maybe you need to try and go fast near the top and then launch it right?
I dunno, I usually don't stay near the top.

it just takes practice and learning to move the cursor just right to get the most speed out of
your swings. the momentum thing works not just with left and right but up and down too so if you
move your cursor up and to the right from the swinger during his up swing you can get more
momentum than just holding to the right
