  Also, what Difficulty even do you categorize someone like Brenton Harrison Tarrant or Chris
  Harper-Mercer? Memelords? Like, they're nearly homegrown.. uh, "talent." Chris could technically
  fit under Emo like the trenchcoats. But Tarrant? Do we just make a new difficulty of
  Ethnonationalist? I guess we'd have to, since there's also Dylann Roof in that category. White
  Supremacist is technically the more correct term for the two, but I don't want to go that
  specific because future proofing. For all we know next year some guy in india decides he needs to
  get all the pakis out and goes to town.

  Also, what is Stephen Paddock? He was an anti-government conspiracy theorist, but all his actions
  prior seemed very sane and well-planned. He was just your usual gun-hoarder, who decided the
  government was planning to come after his guns also his child porn. Is that Rebel or Insane? Or
  for that matter, he was taking anti-anxiety meds and drinking, was it Substance? It kind of
  matter, since he'll be the top score in singleplayer for sure, what with 800 something injured
  nearly 60 dead, he even outranks the top bomber and the one guy who somehow made it to a second
  mission. He is legit the highest score we've had thus far, because he was a man with a lot of
  financial means, lot of mental clarity, and several years of prep time.

  Also, Team IS has not been previously recognized in HSH2's co-op, what with it being an organized
  movement, not the independent actors. Otherwise you could say something crazy like Ghengis Khan's
  Mongolia has the high score.

  There are some changes I would like. It's annoying having to hunt down their motivations
  elsewhere. Lanza's was especially interesting, because it was almost sort of naval-gazey about
  mass shootings themselves. That it's a kind of metric for when the society a person is living in
  is so incongruous with what they believe it should be that they take drastic action.

  In Lanza's case, being Supremely Autistic he felt it was society itself at fault, that if it
  would just let him be a hairless ape beholden only to his natures instead of trying to force him
  to be "civilized" then everything would be fine.
  Given he had a bmi of 15 and spent his days playing vidya and writing erotic fanfics on tumblr, I
  kinda doubt he would have legit made it in the anarchoprimitivist utopian wilds he envisioned.
  Especially because humans are a tribal species and his autistic obsessions were guro and CP,
  which regardless of cultural organizational level tends to make other hominids wary.

  But I still have to recognize some truth to his words. The increase in shootings is indeed a
  metric for incidence of unbearable discontent, which can be used as metric for discontent as a
  whole.
