am i the only one that didn't fall for super mario brothers 2 in the US? when i first played it,

idk, I played them around the same time when I was a child and I just thought they took it into a
different direction with the sequel
but I did feel very confused about "the lost levels" and what the difference to smb1 was, turns
out it was the actual sequel

Yeah I had all three games around the same time, didn't give the differences much thought as a
kid. I liked 2 well enough, but 3 felt like some next level fun at the time.
