I just found out. Damn.
I'm pretty sad right now, I liked this site, I could spend hours on watching random flashes there.

Haven't really touched it since it was pown.alluc.org and most if not all of the content is also
available from other sites archives, but f.

I know that, but pown.it was just so comfy to use.

Aw man, that's a bummer. Wonder why he redirects to the Electronic Frontier Foundation of all
places. If he still owns the domain I wish he'd just leave everything as it was, bandwidth and
static file hosting is cheap today. Guess the plan might be to not renew the domain once it
expires?
"The internet isn't what it used to be" is too god damn true and I still think the flash
abandonment hysteria was uncalled for.
We still have z0r.de and I hear they aren't going without a fight and will be converting to a
webm site soon.

Know that feel. I literally just found out some days ago as well.
It's been dead the longest time, but still, seeing that day come is pure agony.
I kinda started my consumption on flash content there, I know I browsed through all and every swf
there at least once and I posted my first created swf there too.
It hurts to live.

What's the difference? Giving up flash sounds like a defeat in every way. It's not like there
will absolutely be no people able to playback flash in the future. Going down without a fight
should encapsulate still serving flashes for those few individuals.
Sidenote: Wasn't there a (many) z0r forks from people there who made their own website because
the admin didn't do shit/ Update the site infrequently. Wonder what happened to those sites...
