So, I hear Newgrounds is working on a standalone Flash player, any anons wanna confirm? Maybe
post some links?
Flash officially doesn't work on my PC anymore, and I'm looking for an alternative besides
running old OS/Browsers

Adobe already has a standalone flash player, it just takes a bit of work to find.

download them.

what would be the point of making yet another standalone flash player?
what we need is an alternative browser plugin that works with the new plugin system.
it's totally possible for a browser to render a swf file without a plugin btw, just like they can
render a jpg without a plugin. someone just need to put in a lot of work to basically re-code
flash and merge it into firefox's code.
