realistically both, but such things surely died out
because:
1. there's just no funny spritework anymore, you could cut 20 hours of videogamefootage for 3D,
but at that point why not make a gary's mod or MMD video from scratch
2. funny things done by teens is now nearly exclusively spreading dank memes on twitch and
discord, noone fires up a program to share something, why not play and stream yourself doing
funney stuff oti?
lazyness > creativity
people who have actual skills will rather make sophisticated AMVs with After Effects and the rest
lurks in chans
