About a week and a half ago, something fucked up hard in my drive. Nothing seemed wrong,
diagnostics came back fine, but the fucker wouldn't boot. Workaround ended up being to copy drive
contents to a backup drive, nuking the original to all 0s, reinstalling Windows 10, and bringing
essential files back over. Naturally, first thing to jump the gap back to my nice clean OS was my
/f/ folder. Second was my porn stash. Today's a good day, gents.

I would highly recommend you do, anon. The amount of bullshit hoops I've had to jump through
figuring out what the fuck was wrong with it was not worth the trouble. Choosing Windows' "Full
Reset, Clean Reinstall" option was fucking failing, and the only error message it would throw
back was "Nope, something happened, can't do it, fuck you."

Yeah, I've got a spare drive that either is completely burned out or it's connectors are fried,
because it won't load up regardless of what I do, but that thing has my original porn collection,
lots of prime stuff from my serious torrenting days that you just can't find anymore as well.

My win10 crashed during a forced upgrade (more than an update, akin to reinstalling a different
OS) - what a shitload of fuck in the first place.
Totally wrecked harddrive with 2 C: partitions.
I had a backup image (VHDX) on external drive, but guess what the fucking RECOVER WAS ALSO FULL
OF BUGS AND DIDN'T WORK (some invisible 10mb partitions wasn't correctly calculated).
So guess what,
Buy another harddrive.
Download the win10 install disc on another PC and burn it to DVD.
Reinstall Win10 (everything was fucked, had to disable secureboot in the bios)
Mound the VHDX,
run a powershell script for 14 hours straight (man, I thought it didn't work at first).
Convert that image into a DIM on the other harddrive.
Go into recovery partition.
Format fucking C:\
Use DISM to copy the image to a new partition C:.
I can't believed it worked in the end, but that was something else.
I'll never use win10 ever again if I had to move to another PC in the future.
