Vito Petroccitto Jr, the person who made the song, is alive and well from the looks of it. Chris
O'Neill, the maker of the flash, is also still alive but has since moved on from animating as his
primary internet output due to the changing times. Youtubes kneejerk reaction to curb the 2012
reply girl plague fucked over the CPM generating potential of any channel that uploaded short
content on an irregular basis, it also killed video replys as a feature. Chris and Zach Hadel
(psychicpebbles) saw success with Hellbenders and decided to pitch it to multiple networks, their
success is unknown. After being burnt out on animating and dealing with the "poor artist" status
long enough, Chris shifted his focus to his lets play channel, which was formed during the
Sleepycabin/Hellbenders pitching era. Chris now helms a profitable merch store delivery system
disguised as a lets play channel and is also working on a video game utilizing his 3d modelling
and other misc skills.

I think on sleepycast they mentioned that Hellbenders' adult swim pitch went shit just because

Apparently they did successfully pitch it to someone. Zach mentioned it in a now deleted update
video, also stating that it was "out of his hands" as he completed his work on it and sent it
off. So either the deal fell through, the asia sweatshop is taking a long time, or the company
that yoinked it is just sitting on it because suits are retarded. Just glad that what they're
doing now is still of the same humor quality of their past works unlike another newgrounds
animated turned lets player who cant shoot the shit to save his life.
