Not only do we have almost a year left for chrome support, the plugin itself isn't going
anywhere. If you want /f/ booming again make a video about it like people did with newgrounds.
It's not hard making flash sound exotic.

Good song. Rip /f/ I don't want it to end or I'm not ready yet.

What videos are you talking about?

There are a bunch of video essays that brough attention to the site. Random youtubers talking
about how much they used to enjoy it like. It gets a fair bit of attention when markiplier talks
about it and there are video essays like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kFS7APAApBA which
seem to have gotten quite a bit of people onlo there.
If you concentrated your efforts you could potentially get new eyes on /f/

Good. Time for flash to finally die. Chrome is killing support next year, other browsers will
follow.

That only means I'll no longer use Chrome next year, and will use whatever browser DOES support
it.

Wait it just means the plugins wont be supported anymore its not like they'll be disabled when
support stops, right?

You should have stopped using chrome a decade ago.

Use IE. It's the least crap when it comes to Flash, or use Edge. Problem with Edge is that you
have to manually allow it to run flash every single time. It used to not do that shit.
>>3418429
Adobe AIR is the technical successor to Flash, however, it is mainly used for mobile games and
desktop executables.

The problem isn't lack of browser support, it's lack of fresh OC. 99% of /f/ is just reposting
the same couple dozen files over and over and over.
>> [_] Anonymous 02/17/20(Mon)00:33:13 No.3418477
>>3418476
Well to be fair, since 2004 there's been in the neighborhood of a quarter of a million unique
flashes posted to /f/...
and only a few dozen are worth a shit.
So I guess in that light. you can say the reposters represent the Cream of the Crop.
>> [_] Anonymous 02/17/20(Mon)00:36:45 No.3418478
>>3418477
The problem is it's not new or novel though... no matter how good or bad something is, if it's
posted enough inevitably you get to a point where everything that can be said about it has
already been said.
You need a constant flux of fresh content to keep a board alive.

True...
but then again, if you dig back far enough, an old lost flash is virtually as good as new :^)

There are two main problems with making OC.
One is the size of the community. Making big flash projects just for a few people is demoralizing.
The other is the fact the community almost never reposts said high effort OC. I've only seen an
NCH repost once in here, Zone troll gets posted once a week, zone hentai gets posted once every
two months
Example: My 3 frame rough hentai flash was never reposted and got 1.5k views on newgrounds.
/f/ is chill and focuses on flashes and having a good time, which is why I'm here. If you want my
thoughts on what would improve it it would be those two.
