No one knows what the future holds, it's more, likely Hiro will just delete this god forsaken
board than create a new version of flash just for it, though.

I still can't understand why massive mega corporations think they have the right to decide we
don't want to be able to use flash in our browsers any more and that webmasters must spend time
to change their sites to accommodate their decision.

I can't imagine flash actually dying, despite the lack of support. Or maybe I'm just coping.

Is there some upside to flash being dropped? Like are our conpyus are gonna run 20% faster and
cooler cause they don't have to deal with some overhead or something like that?

most popular flash makers from newgrounds went to youtube and get millions of views on animations
now. the file may be getting ready for the corporate chopping block but the people aren't gone.

man flash is just too old and nobody still use it for official content so it cost more for
security update than what it would yield so after too much time of no support it just became a
huge security breach so huge corporations decide to block it entirely to don't face the
consequences such a huge breach will create in their systems.

I'm already setup so that when I click on a flash link it opens it in the standalone player
rather than the browser (also in a sandbox for good measure).
If that somehow breaks someday I'll open it in a VM next.

>nobody still use it
there are entire sites that was built on nothing but flash for over 10 years, they haven't been
able to adapt and will just die when over 90% of their content is worthless.
there's a lot of non-english speaking sites that people surf onto to play small games on their
breaks at work, i'd not be surprised if they have no idea that flash will be bricked at the start
of next year
