Hi, I was the anon a few days back that posted that archive.org page with all of the standalone
flash players.
I've since sorted everything and fixed some issues, and I've uploaded them to a new archive.org
page (was too lazy to delete everything from the other one so I just nuked the item).

How far back does it go? Do you have any flashplayer from the 90s?

No, flash existed in the 90s. I think there were standalone players back then as well. If not I'd
still like to know how old player he was able to get.

Speaking of flash players, I am currently working on a disassembly of the flash player, will be a
long term project. Right now I am working on identifying various libraries. The main one is
avmplus, the action-script 3 virtual machine which adobe release the source code for. After
playing with the build options it appears to exactly match the compiled code in the flash player
binary.

it goes back to flash player 9, while adobe had flash player 2 as the oldest download on their
archive page, it didn't have any standalone players so I skipped it
