What are these strange dummy Email addresses that appeared on /f/ just now? They seem to be
persistent with your IP, across the entire board. They act like pseudo IDs. Very strange.
Is /f/ dying?
Marked for deletion (old).

They are visible on all devices and browsers, and affect OPs as well. They are definitely hex
numbers. No clue what they stand for. Probably internal poster IDs.

Can the /f/ mod please explain this?

The end is nigh, 02b99990d. /f/ is dying.

Looks like /f/ also got forced IDs in this weird form? Or more likely some bug.
Honestly I wouldn't even report it, chances are if we make a ruckus now, mods will remember to
baleet the board.

I'm just embracing the new status quo, 05710dc03. /f/ now has global IDs. And since this place
has no mods, it will probably stay like this for a while.

I agree that is is most likely a bug, 000eb9a10. Entering anything into the options or name field
doesn't seem to influence it.

When a post is added to the page with the thread updater, it doesn't get a mail ID. Only when you
refresh the page they appear, 02b99990d.
