Whoever thought this was even a remotely acceptable way of presenting an idea has to be
completely delusional (and probably fucking high)

Water is wet
The sky is blue
Zeitgeist has no basis in reality
Is this news to you?

Next you'll be saying Science is Communism.

Science is the objective observation of the workings of the natural world, and is the closest
thing we have to truth, albeit predicated on the notion any conclusions we draw from it may in
reality be false.
People who say shit like "He's a science denier!", on the other hand, are morons and every bit as
dogmatic and closed-minded as the institutional religions they believe to have risen above.

so what's unscientific about the fact that million people hunger and million pounds of bread get
dumped into the ocean every year, just because nobody bought them, even if we made them, even if
people need them?
when you have 5 identical products on a shelf, people will inevitably only buy one of them and
the other 4 will go to waste, but at least we have the choice which overpriced toxic industrial
waste we will dump into our bodies next, those manager salaries and marketing departments aren't
paying themselves (read: provide any real benefit to society)
I mean, buy low sell hight, that's how the world MUST be, right? that's the will of god

You've identified a real problem. Modern society is wasteful and unfair. Few people will argue
with these basic assertions.
However, one cannot merely throw an abstract notion of "science" at the problem and expect a
functional solution. The production of bread is one facet of the equation. Transporting it from
the fertile plains where it is grown to the arid lands where people hunger entails considerable
expenses in resources and waste. A perishable good, it quickly molds in transit. In some
localities, the local despots are inclined to seize it and use it as leverage over the people.
Fed long enough, starving people will reproduce and make more starving people, compounding the
problem. Over time, the demand would likely outstrip our ability to grow sufficient food on a
limited supply of arable land.
Like most engineering problems, fixing one issue almost always involves introducing new and
equally unpleasant issues. The primary flaw of the Zeitgeist Movement is it pretends it can fix
these problems with no trade-offs. This is not the nature of our universe.

Shit song, and the presentation made me believe someone was going to get naked throughout the
entire thing.
overall a complete disappointment.
