  year. Since the holidays always turn out to be an issue they should have set the end date on

  Probably for PR reasons. Google and Microsoft are happy to see their competitor's product be
  retired and have spent years smearing Flash's reputation as inherently unsafe. It would make
  Adobe look suspect if they ended Flash support without also "protecting" users from it.

  Nah, the files will still be here, and you can still upload to here, you just can't view them on
  the board itself, you'd have to have some kind of flash watching app like the one Newgrounds made
  a few months back. Or the one from Flash Macromedia.

  Why are flash files so loud that I have to lower my volume to like 1 or 2 to have them at level
  that won't blow my ear drums out?
  I had this problem forever but it took me until the death of flash to ask this funnily enough.

  Just use an external player, it's how I've played flash files for a while since iirc operagx or
  whatever else I used a while ago would just try to download the flash if I opened it without
  embedding. It just means I'll need to make a folder for stuff I haven't looked at yet to know if
  I wanna save it

  I might add that this whole "kill switch" thing made me try the opposite before.

  Setting this in the future, doesn't break flashplayer (at least not on linux). No idea for
  browser plugins, haven't used in ages.
