I use the standalone flash player, it requires no installing. I got it from adobe's website a few
months ago. Until there is a tested solution, I will remain in this post-apo bunker.
Oh but there is also the flashpoint infinity project, it comes with an emulator I think, and some
tweaking could allow to play any swf file from your drive.

Still works on Edge for me, also make sure you download Flash Player 32.0.0.380 and set updates
to off. Easy.
