Marked for deletion (old).

Not much outside of work, unfortunately. There's a deadline coming up, and I'm finding I don't
have time or energy left for much else.
Probably the only non-work thing is that I've been looking at getting into investing. It's more
interesting than I thought it would be.

sometimes I remember that other people go out into the world and do things over the weekend with
friends. it's a little worrying that I forget this.

me too man, I dont think I really even had any friends, I cant hold conversations around people,
its really really hard. I sputter or mess up words. I always feel like Im doing something wrong
or Im being an asshole. Doesn't help that I'm an only child as well.
Every time i talk with people in my class or people around me I feel like I overthink everything,
and I cant stop doing it. It takes me 15 minutes to convince myself that the text im sending to
my boss doesn't have a sarcastic or mean tone to it.
Everytime i get into talking i feel like i take stuff too far or make a joke that people dont
understand. My senior year is ending and I really feel bad about how my life is going, maybe in
college I can get better

>maybe in college I can get better
You can. College is a way better social environment, because you can choose which people you're
spending your time with.
Unsolicited advice: join a shitload of clubs, and then stop turning up to all but a couple of
them after a few weeks. It's much easier to get comfortable talking to people when the context is
something you both find interesting.

A source of confidence can be that professors will start taking you seriously. When adults stop
talking down to you, you'll hopefully learn to talk to adults.

You still have time. Don't be like me and wait until you're 30 to realize there are people out
there with similar interests and that are willing to listen to you. The first step, the hardest
one, is just walking up and talking to people

payed up all my expenses for a little over three months, ordered all other things i'd need for a
month which have since then arrived, and i downloaded a Patreon WIP by the name of Rise of the
White Flower for myself because i'm such a swell guy
it's on version like 0.5.0.1, or something, but it's released in chapters (it's a VN with choices
that carry) so the parts that are finished ARE finished
\it's alright, i guess

finished building a model bridge for my civil engineering class
insanely tedious stuff which completely drained me, but on the bright side finals end in a few
weeks and then I can get to actually watching anime again

Got my mate a job at my tech support workplace. He's going from maybe 4 hours a week at mcdonalds
to a full 40 hour week with benefits. I'm glad i helped the poor guy get out of a rut and he can
now start his life journey much earlier than i did.
Went out to try the new korean fried chicken place locally and had some greek loukoumades for
desert. As usual i also played digimon TCG locally with my friends on saturday at our local game
store.
I also got pulled over for speeding in front of a cop on my way to my digimon locals because i
literally didn't even see the cop van.
He was brutally honest and just asked me "c'mon mate, what was that?" and when he asked me why he
shouldn't give me a ticket i just told him that i couldn't think of a reason and he should give
me one.
He ended up letting me off the hook because he was too busy. Thank god the cops in my area are
much more forgiving than the inner-city cunts.
Today i had a mother's day lunch of wagyu steaks and smashed potatoes with the family. Now i'm
going to enjoy a fap while everyone left to do shopping and the house is empty.
All in all, i'm happy with the events that occurred this week. Some weeks are boring, some weeks
are eventful. That's life.

telling others about indie projects will do more than the actual purchase. depends on how unknown
the project is, of course. some games never leave alpha and make millions for the devs, which is
probably why they never bother finishing them.

I get that. It's a balancing act. This VN is different IMO in that it actually has 2D drawn art,
and due simply to how it's being released. You also don't have to buy into the Patreon but I did
because there is an option on their itch.io page to pay what you want instead of a fixed price,
and that buys further good faith from me.
I don't normally support VNs at all.

Most of my finals are over and I think I did good.
