hello /f/
i finally got flash working again on
firefox
having an issue though with my standalone player on certain flashes
the past year or so some flashes have been acting wonky, such as this one ive posted
when changing the size, the colors/hue as a whole will change, or double up imagery in a broken
way
sometimes this happens without changing the size of it at all
im on linux and have just tried using the 32.0.0.371 version, but no effect
im not sure if i extracted the files correctly, i used the flash archive that was linked here a
while ago though, titled fp_32.0.0.371_archive.zip, which includes files for windows and mac as
well
the last mod date on the standalone player is the 24th of april, 2020, which iirc shouldn't have
any of the depreciation code
wat do

sounds like a linux problem. but you could try using the final 465 version of the plugin, you can
download a fix from swfchan.com/end

no dice on the 465 projector
whats weird is i run an identical linux on my laptop, which had 371 i believe for its standalone
and then transfered that to my main pc which has the issues now
so not sure if its some behind the scenes type shit

sounds even more like a linux problem. some hardware related thing maybe?

I'm on Linux too and saw that happening with many flashes in Projector as well. False colors and
wrong positioning. All works fine in a browser though (needs Firefox <=84 and NPAPI plugins <=371)

not seeing this at all on projector here (linux too, using latest flashplayer)
maybe something GLX related since the player may be initializing something wrong while the
browser does it right (nvidia here)

I used to have that problem on a similar setup. Disabling hardware acceleration solved it for me.
