Moron. The stage size is the size of the flash.
It's idiotic to set your stage to 550x400 and then draw outside of it.
If you have a 16:9 stage and draw outside of it, you won't be able to view it properly even in
fullscreen on a 1080p monitor.

It's not like you have to draw outside of it.
You just mask the stage at whatever size you please and the flash can still be watched in
whatever resolution on whatever kind of monitor, exactly as visually intended.

Why limit yourself to some arbitrary screen size?
Really stage size is only relevant to creators, because drawing on a huuge stage is more time
consuming, even if the effect is exactly the same (scaled back to your screen size).

The sauce bar is regularely outside of the stage boundaries, it's been tradition before you even

Also, as I said, you can NOT draw outside of it and STILL scale the stage up to whatever you want
and it WILL display perfectly if the creator put a mask over the stage.
