is there a better way to view swfs in a browser than ruffle? None of the videos play, I just hear

Man, are you STILL asking the same question that has literally been asked every week since this
year has started?
Just look in the archive for anything, man.
The short:
Use a compatible browser. Palemoon works and has a standalone edition.
Install flash (any works really, just get the last installer for NPAPI from the archives).
Swap the dll files with the hex edited ones (copies available at swfchan).
That's it.
If you want it easy set swf to download and open with projector automatically.
There is no alternative to it, ruffle is just there to give people a reason not to use flash. The
top 3 browsers are cucked beyond repair and will never give you back anything. You can still use
them for whatever, but use f.e. palemoon to browse /f/, though palemoon is basically just as good
as modern firefox, you can use it to browse everything else as well.

First uninstall your existing flash player using this link https://helpx.adobe.c
om/flash-player/kb/uninstall-flash-player-windows.html Download the uninstaller and run it. Then
obviously download PaleMoon and go on >>3466478 's link and download the 371 flash player. Then
go to control manager, search "flash" then click "Flash Player (32-bit), then go to updates, then
select "Notify me to install updates". This way windows won't automatically update to the newest
version with the kill switch.
This is how I got it to work for me after December so it's kinda a mix of stuff I got from all of
the copypasta's from then
