So now that it's finally released to the public, what does /f/ think of the End of Rebuildgelion?

I haven't had any interest in NGE since the original series and first movie aired.
The rest is just cow milking imo.
You cannot deny the influence eva had, so there is no way they'd just let it die in peace.
It was a cool avantguard thing during that time, but it was never meant to have some 2deep4me
meaning, at least not more than what was under the surface, maybe more than most of its brethren
at the time.
But then the creators just tried to keep spinning it into some bigger than life christian mystics.
I just want to look at modern Assuka and remember the times when the series truly had a place in
the anime community.

I'm not watching it; the first three were awful. in fact the third is the only one which feels
like a real movie, sort of like the Star Wars prequels. the rebuilds even have their own Jar-Jar

Anno wasted all the 2D Budget on a generic anime farmville in the first half of the movie. The
important part of the movie is all CG, including the fight between Shinji and Gendo, where the
Evas look like rag dolls
