Jesus Christ, I was refering to the non-canonical christian and jewish literature.
Most of the orders of angels aren't even close to resembling a human figure.
Guess if you only think of the lowest order of Angels as "the angels", then there sure are a lot
of artworks that depict them like any other androgynous person.
