Sorry guys, the server is sometimes freezing after running for several days. Since this has
happened several times now I've put a daily reboot in place. Hopefully that prevents swfchan from
becoming unavailable for a long time again. Daily reboots are not something you typically want on
a server but I don't know what's wrong, should be about time to get new server hardware in a year
or two.
Posting in this thread despite the other ones having more discussion, since those threads looks
like they could 404 soon.

just to clear things up for newfags:
there was an unanswered question that I want to adress

they are in fact both real. swfchan has a real neat structure that I don't really see anywhere
else (for obvious reasons) despite making a lot of sense -
swfchan.com swfchan.net and swfchan.org (retired) are all the official site
the domain just indicated which "part" of swfchan you are on,
with .com serving as the flash archive
.net serving as the threads (of /f/) archive, both which can be searched through individually
and .org was the on site flash board, which is now fused with the .net main page (because it was
rarely used in the past) into boards.swfchan.net
boy, typing all that out sure makes me glad that swfchan links were removed from the banned words
on 4chan list
