windows xp felt new for me even in 2008 because we were poor and had a pentium 3 w/ windows 98.
didn't use win7 until about 2012 or so
i used to do all sorts of shit with it
now i don't know how to use windows 8+ efficiently. and i don't know how those UEFI systems work.
back in my day we didn't have any of that shit.

I had ME/98 2001 until 2006 family computer. Got a vista pc in 2008 but that is os was an epic
fail so made it an xp that pc died around 2014 and just made a new Xp after that.
Had virtual pc on both of the last 2 and made little windows 98s to run free trials and wipe and
reset after they expire.
Eventually I just bought a used copy of flash and this became pointless.
I miss the old days more than I can describe, life just isn't what it used to be.
