Years ago some anon had a name that was slightly too long. This caused his upload to be two lines
long instead of the normal one. People noticed this and starting doing the same. It then became a
competition to be as big as possible, shitting up the board. It took the mods only a few hours to
permanently restrict how long a name can be on /f/. Now you know /f/ history that you never even
wondered about
